We have always looked up to DC superheroes for the ideals that they stand for and the evil they destroy. Check out below for the top 100 DC superheroes.

Icon is the superhero name of Arnus aka Augustus Freeman. He is a member of the Terminan alien race.

97. Kate Spencer

Katherine Spencer is a former district attorney and lawyer. She took on the identity of Manhunter to correct the wrongs the judicial system couldn’t or wouldn’t.

96. Don Hall

An agent of Order, the Superhero known as Dove, along with his brother Hawk (and agent of Chaos), was apart of the crime fighting duo known as Hawk and Dove. The pair often aided other superheros such as the Teen Titans and Batman. Upon dying Don finds peace in death.

95. Elongated Man

Elongated man is a private eye who like his name can stretch.

94. Commander Steel

Commander Steel has super strength due to his steel alloy frame and the micro motors in his joints.

93. Damage

Damage is the son of the Golden Age Atom and gained his power after Zero Hour.

92. Rocket

Rocket has an inertia belt that allows her to fly and form shields of kinetic energy.

91. Jakeem Thunder

Jakeem Thunder is the current possesor of the Thunderbolt.

90. Cyclone

Cyclone has the powers of flight, wind manipulation, and sound wave control.

The Crimson Avenger is actually the first superhero created by DC Comics. He is a masked superhero that only uses his wits and fists to fight evil.

When Johnny Thunder speaks the words Cei – U he has total control over a genie for one hour.

87. Jean-Paul Valley

Jean-Paul Valley is a superhero named after the angel of death. Originally, he fought alongside of Batman.

86. Vixen

Mari Jiwe McCabe, also known as Vixen, is a successful fashion icon, talk show host, animal activist and superhero who is able to channel the powers of any animal that has walked or evolved on Earth.

85. Jack Knight

Jack Knight is the son of Ted Knight, the original Starman and took on his father’s mantle.

84. Ice

Ice is a reserved and compassionate superhero who fights crime alongside her friend Fire.

83. Hank Hall

In his Hawk persona he has the powers of superhuman strength, durability, stamina, speed, agility and reflexes, enhanced body density, healing factor and Invulnerability. In his Extant persona, he has the powers of time travel, chronokinesis, energy Blasts, flight, and omniscience.

Red Tornado is an android and member of the Justice League.

A former GCPD detective, Renee became the new Question after the death of Vic Sage.

When Vic Sage, a television investigative journalist, encountered stories he couldn’t investigate by normal, legal means, he donned a special mask that made it appear that he had no face.

Formerly an architect, social activist, and U.S. Marine sniper, John Stewart was selected by the Guardians of the Universe to be one of the Green Lanterns for Sector 2814.

55. Metamorpho

Rex Mason was transformed into Metamorpho after he was exposed to the light of an ancient meteor.

54. Hawkgirl

Hawkgirl is the reincarnated spirit of Chay-Ara.

53. Blue Devil

A stuntman and special effects genius Daniel Cassidy, who after an encounter with the demon Nebiros, found himself stuck in the very exo-suit he created for a movie called The Blue Devil. He later turned into a real demon.

Guy Gardner started out as the backup Green Lantern for Hal Jordan.

Tempest (formerly Aqualad) was Aquaman’s sidekick. He is the second physically strongest Atlantean.

A medical doctor who lost his sight, Dr. Pieter Cross can see spectrums of light in total darkness.

40. Black Lightning

Jefferson Michael Pierce aka Black Lightning, is a teacher and former Olympic Gold Medal-winning athlete. He fights crime, using his electrokinetic powers.

Half man, half machine after a near fatal incident, Victor Stone was cybernetically enhanced by his father. He now possesses the ability to communicate, manipulate, and interface with nearly all forms of technology.

Cole Cash is a former U.S. Army Special Ops soldier who deserted and became a con artist.

Laurie Juspeczyk was chosen by her mother to succeed her as Silk Spectre.

Billy Batson was struck by a magical thunderbolt and gained vast divine powers and abilities, transforming him into Magic’s Champion, and the World’s Mightiest Mortal, Shazam!

14. Zatanna

The daughter of John Zatara, Zatanna is a powerful magician who casts spells by speaking backwards.

13. Ted Kord

Ted Kord was the second person to become the Blue Beetle. He uses his superior athleticism, fighting prowess, and technological genius to combat crime.

The son of an Atlantean queen and a lighthouse keeper from the town of Amnesty Bay, Arthur Curry would grow up to become the superhero Aquaman, and later take on his birthright as the King of Atlantis.

After being doused in chemicals and struck by lightning, Barry Allen got the power of super-speed becoming the Flash.

2. Green Arrow

Oliver Queen was a spoiled, thrill-seeking playboy, until he was left stranded on a deserted island for several years. There, he trained to become a master archer in order to survive. When he returned, he used his new abilities to fight crime as the Green Arrow.

Rocketed to Earth as an infant from the doomed planet Krypton, Superman uses his immense solar-fueled powers to defend mankind against evil.
